 Paging

The Universal Office paging service supports most pagers. As a Universal Office Customer, you are free to shop for the best deal on your pager. Get your pager from almost any provider and you can integrate it with your Universal Telephone Number.  No longer will you have to give your callers a separate pager number and complicated instructions. Your Universal Office not only integrates your pager for message notifications, you can also be paged when you have a fax or email.

Whenever Genie pages you, she will also save the name and telephone number of the person who called. If your pager is out of range (or just turned off), you will still get the name and telephone number of who paged you. To return a page, just listen to the saved message and then press the star key. The call is returned automatically, on our network. 

Tele-Paging

TelePaging is a unique service that lets callers "page" you, even if you don’t have a pager. To the caller, a TelePage is identical to the regular paging program. But instead of calling a pager number, Genie calls you on the telephone and delivers the information verbally. With TelePaging, Genie can search up to three telephone numbers, for example, office, cell phone or home. You no longer need to carry the additional cost (or weight) of a pager. And when you receive Genie’s TelePage just press the star key and Genie will connect you to the paging party. You can even add your own comments and then forward the TelePage to someone else in your organization for follow-up.   

Entering Your Pager Number

 Just access your Genie through your Universal Telephone Number, and select Option 8 from the service menu. At the next menu, select Option 3. This will take you to the menu for programming features of your Universal Office. Next, select Option 5 to work with your Pager service. Just follow Genie’s prompts to set up your pager number.
